Privacy Policy

Pulse is an ephemeral peer-to-peer communication application developed by TRAKER24 EU LOGISTYKA LUKASZ ORZECHOWSKI. This policy explains how data is handled within the app.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

Pulse is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or process:

• Personal information (names, emails, phone numbers)
• User accounts or login credentials
• Message content or chat history
• Files shared within clusters
• Contact lists or relationship graphs
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data

2. How Pulse Works

All communication in Pulse is peer-to-peer (P2P) using WebRTC data channels with end-to-end encryption (ECDH + AES-256-GCM). Messages travel directly between devices without passing through any central server.

The only server component is a signaling relay that facilitates the initial WebRTC connection handshake. This relay:

• Does not store any messages or session data
• Does not log message content
• Only temporarily holds connection metadata (session IDs, node IDs) in memory
• Automatically purges all data when sessions end

3. Ephemeral Nature

All data in Pulse is ephemeral by design:

• Clusters (chat sessions) exist only while participants are connected
• When all participants leave, the cluster ceases to exist
• No message history is stored on any server
• No backups are created
• No data persists after a session ends

4. Encryption

All peer-to-peer communication is encrypted using:

• ECDH (Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman) key exchange with P-256 curve
• HKDF key derivation
• AES-256-GCM symmetric encryption for all messages

Encryption keys are generated per-session and per-peer. They are never stored or transmitted to any server.

5. Network Connections

Pulse connects to:

• Signaling server (pulse.electricentropy.eu) — for WebRTC handshake only
• STUN servers (Google) — for NAT traversal to establish P2P connections
• Peer devices — direct encrypted connections for communication

6. Third-Party Services

Pulse does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with third parties.

7. Children's Privacy

Pulse does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. Since the app does not collect personal data from any users, no special provisions are necessary.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
